An outdoor theatrical event and installation taking place in the middle of the old runways on Greenham Common.

The event is FREE, no tickets required.

Please note that dusk is just after 7.30pm and tracks are not lit until you reach the central event area so you are responsible for your own safety. Please bring torches and wear walking shoes. The tracks are good but are unmade and are not smooth road surfaces.

Pedestrian and Bicycle Entry onto the Common
Gates will be open at Control Tower, Business Park and at Pyle Hill (RG19 3BX). There is no parking at Pyle Hill car park on event evenings and Control Tower and Business Parks are restricted access – see below. Bicycles can be parked at car parks at your own risk. No dogs or bicycles in main event area please.

Just turn up.

A bus service will run from 5.30pm from Cheap Street bus stop in town centre, close to the main Newbury bus station and Newbury Railway Station,opposite the Post Office. Buses will leave between 5.30pm & 8.30pm at 5 to 10 minute Intervals.

Park and Ride
The bus will also stop at the Newbury College Park and Ride where there is free parking but a ticketed bus charge of £3 (please pre-book or pay on night) and drop off at the Control Tower. Journey length 20 to 30 mins depending on traffic. No outbound journeys from the town centre to the event site after 8.30pm.

Return journey buses
Buses will leave the Control Tower car park at 5 - 10 minute intervals after 9.30pm when the event finishes and then will shuttle to and from town centre until all audience members have reached their destination. Online bus reservations close at midday on Thursday 7 September.

Parking charges: £5 per car in advance, £10 on the night. Marshalled car parking opens at 5.30pm for the event.
Pre-booked spaces will have priority but some parking may be available on the night for £10. Signage at entry points
 will make it clear when car parks are full. (Regular Business Users – please follow the appropriate event entry signage. You may be requested to give details on entry from 5.30pm)

Free Disabled Parking, Control Tower Car Park

Disabled Parking must be pre-booked. Please be prepared to show reservations and Disabled Parking ID. Please note: there is still a walk of approx. 5 mins from disabled parking and that the event has no seating (although you can bring your own). Once on the Common the tracks are reasonable for wheelchairs but are tracks, not made up roads. It is possible to book to drop off people with mobility issues a little closer to the site on the Common by prior arrangement only.

If this is required please use the message box on the Eventbrite booking form, or leave a message on the phone message service 01635 813900. The site is more like a small festival or county show site with a central stage rather than an outdoor classical concert or play.

For drivers who are not parking and stopping you may drop off and pick up event visitors at the Control Tower car park. No need to book.
