Grant Distribution Committees

Grants

Our Grant committees meet regularly throughout the year – roughly every 6-8 weeks.   You can add your application at any time for consideration at the next available meeting. However, to ensure timely consideration,  please ensure your application is live on The Good Exchange platform by the below deadline dates.

We recommend you allow a week for your application to be verified and made live on The Good Exchange.

Areas of Operation

We have two geographical zones of operation for our grants. One for Greenham Trust Grants and a slightly different one for Peter Baker Grants.

Greenham Trust Grants  – West Berkshire and North Hampshire – See our map here

Committees

Youth Distribution Committee:
Each year we invite pupils from local secondary schools and youth organisations to review projects and award grants with a combined decision. The maximum available to distribute is £15,000 and the maximum grant award per project is £1500

Community Grants:
Greenham Trust’s Distribution Committee sits twice a year to allocate funding from this scheme. Applications are more likely to be considered if they have already raised funding for the project.

Tenant Distribution Committee:
As part of our 25^th anniversary in 2022, Greenham Trust has established a Tenant Distribution Committee, where key and long-term tenants from Greenham Business Park properties will have a say about the projects the Trust supports, with up to £100,000 per annum to allocate.

Peter Baker Grants: 
The capital and revenues generated by the former Foundation assets are held by Greenham Trust as a restricted fund and grants are distributed in line with the original intentions of Peter Baker; for charitable purposes within a 20-mile radius of Market Place, Newbury, Berkshire
