New Head of Grants for Greenham Trust

Greenham Trust welcomes Rob Daniels as their new Head of Grants and Administration.  Rob has been working in corporate IT for various local, national and international companies over the years in management roles, but it is his volunteering outside of work which was really of interest. Rob was an integral part of the team which fundraised and built the new £800,000 Scout HQ in Wash Common which opened in September. Rob has also spent over 25 years volunteering for the Scouts. His valuable local experience of seeing the charity sector from the other side will be vital in helping and advising the charities and organisations that Greenham Trust work with.

Rob said “I’ve always admired Greenham Trust as an organisation having been working with them to deliver the Scout HQ project for the last 5 years, but to now take the experience gained from my hobby and use it in my job is very exciting. It’s a very interesting time to join the Trust; local charities and organisations are under ever increasing pressure and appeals like the Cost-of-Living fund have never been more required to support those in need.”

Chris Boulton, CEO Greenham Trust said, “We are looking forward to using Rob’s hands-on experience as a charity trustee and fundraiser to better understand the needs of the charity sector in West Berkshire and north Hampshire at this challenging time for everyone. I’m very pleased to welcome Rob to the team.”
