Greenham Trust’s Planting Project
In 2022 Greenham Trust launched a tree planting project to celebrate its 25th anniversary and to coincide with the Queen’s Green Canopy as part of the Platinum Jubilee. In two years we have provided over 4000 trees to 90 different charitable organisations!
One of the applicants in Winter 2022/23 was West Woodhay Parish Council who requested 70 oak trees to create an avenue of trees from the Village Hall to the Church. You can see below images that show the community working together to plant the trees.
We are continuing with this project to enhance our local environment in the coming years. If you are interested in applying for trees for next Autumn for your charitable project please see further details on our website: greenhamtrust.com/trees.
